Recommended Installation:

The recommended installation is for all Quick “Pipe” Blocks to be freestanding (not attached to the roof).

Quick “Pipe” Blocks are recommended for usage on all current types of built-up and single-ply roofing membranes.

For built-up roofs, all loose aggregate from the area under the Quick “Pipe” Block should be removed . Following removal, set the Quick “Pipe” Block, with the pad installed, directly on the membrane. Finally, backfill around the pad with aggregate.

Nelson-Olsen, Inc. warrants Quick “Pipe” Block to be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of one year following delivery. Nelson-Olsen, Inc. makes no other representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, in fact or in law, including without limitation, the warranty or merchantability or the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, other than the limited warranty set forth above. Every claim under this warranty shall be deemed waived unless made in writing and received by within thirty (30) days of the date the defect to which each claim relates is discovered or should have been discovered.

Quick “Pipe” Blocks are UV stabilized and are structurally sound in outdoor weather conditions for many years of life. UV resistance is warranted for the life of the roof membrane.

It is expressly understood and agreed that the limit of Nelson-Olsen’s liability shall be re-supply a like quantity of non-defective product and that shall have no such liability except where the damage or claim results solely from breach of warranty. Nelson-Olsen, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or other damages, for any alleged negligence, breach or warranty, strict liability or any other theory, other than that limited liability set forth above.
